The full name is Melamine-Urea-Formaldehyde Impregnated Bond Paper, also known as "melamine" paper. It is a kind of plain base paper or printed decorative paper that is impregnated with amino resin (melamine formaldehyde resin and urea-formaldehyde resin) and dried to a certain degree. It has a certain resin content and volatile content. It can be glued to each other or to the base material of artificial board after hot pressing.
Main indicators
A. Glue impregnation amount: the content of solid resin in decorative film paper, expressed as percentage (%). B. Volatile content: the content of volatiles (mostly water and other small molecules) in decorative film paper, expressed as percentage (%). C. Pre-curing degree: the curing degree of resin in decorative film paper, expressed as percentage (%).
Production process
Glue making → glue preparation (adding curing agent, release agent, penetrant, dust remover, etc.) → first impregnation (mixing melamine formaldehyde resin and urea formaldehyde resin) → first drying → second impregnation (melamine formaldehyde resin, wear-resistant layer) → second drying → cooling and cutting.
